The Role
As a Trueport Operator (DA & Port Costs Operator), you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our customers experience the full value of trueports platform. Youll collaborate with port agents and shipanagers/shipowners, manage port costs, and deliver transparency and efficiency across every transaction.
What Youll Do
Benchmark and optimize pricing across the trueport agency network
Review and validate Disbursement Accounts (DAs) in line with trueport SOPs and principles
Partner with port agents to deliver seamless execution of the trueport value proposition
Monitor and report on KPIs for operations, customers, and agents
Coordinate with port cost teams to manage husbandry and commercial port cost needs
Work cross-functionally to ensure client requirements are met
Conduct KYC processes for onboarding current customers and agents
Manage prefunding and reconciliation of payments to port agents
Review charter parties to identify cost recovery prospects for customers
Ensure proactive accuracy of port costs from enquiry to reconciliation
Investigate discrepancies in DA expenses and identify root causes
Execute special tasks and projects in accordance with instructions from the line manager
Contribute to the development of current or the amendment of existing procedures
Promote and support efforts for continual improvement
