About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Email Deliverability Manager
to lead a team of 10+ deliverability professionals and oversee complex client and internal email programmes.
This is a hands-on managerial role requiring deep technical knowledge of email deliverability, robust people-management capability, client-facing experience, and the ability to maintain high standards across strategy, execution, reporting, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 10+ email deliverability professionals.
Allocate work, manage team bandwidth, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery.
Define and monitor team KPIs, SOPs, quality standards, and reporting processes.
Review deliverability audits, strategies, technical investigations, and recommendations prepared by the team.
Manage complex deliverability issues across Gmail, Yahoo, Microsoft, Apple, and other mailbox providers.
Oversee inbox placement, sender reputation, complaints, bounces, throttling, deferrals, blocks, and ISP-specific issues.
Guide IP and domain warm-up, segmentation, traffic distribution, reputation recovery, and remediation strategies.
Review and troubleshoot SPF, DKIM, DMARC, PTR, rDNS, TLS, ARC, feedback loops, and related configurations.
Work with MTAs, SMTP infrastructure, IP pools, sending domains, and high-volume sending settings.
Analyse SMTP responses, bounce logs, complaint data, reputation signals, and delivery trends.
Support ecommerce, affiliate, lead-generation, and performance-marketing email programmes.
Work directly with clients, explain findings, present recommendations, and manage expectations.
Ensure client reports, audits, action plans, and communications are accurate and delivered on time.
