Bakery Cashier (Full time)

Location: Nanganallur, Chennai

Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month (Based on Experience)
Working Hours: 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM
Food & Accommodation: Provided if required

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, honest, and customer-focused Bakery Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with customers, handling billing accurately, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers with a friendly attitude.
Handle billing and cash/POS transactions accurately.
Accept cash, UPI, card, and other digital payments.
Pack bakery products neatly and assist customers with their purchases.
Maintain the cash counter and ensure it is clean and organized.
Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
Assist with displaying products and maintaining stock on shelves.




Coordinate with kitchen and sales staff for smooth operations.
Answer customer queries regarding products and offers.
Follow hygiene and customer service standards at all times.

Requirements
Minimum 10th/12th Pass.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Previous cashier, retail, bakery, or supermarket experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of POS billing systems and digital payments.
Positive communication skills in Tamil (English is a plus).
Honest, punctual, and customer-friendly.
Must be available to work evenings and weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).
