About the Role:

Backdropsource is looking for a Junior Data Analyst / Data Engineer to work hands-on with business data — analyse & transform unstructured to structured data, building and maintaining data pipelines, integrating with RDBMS/NoSQL DB, generating reports and dashboards supporting e-commerce, marketing, sales, products, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to migrate and sync data from multiple sources.
Set up and manage RDBMS/NoSQL tables, schemas, and warehouses following data modeling best practices.
Integrate with third-party and internal APIs including Shopify, marketing platforms, and CRM/ERP tools to pull and load data on scheduled or event-driven workflows.
Write and optimize SQL for transformations, migrations, and recurring data workflows.
Support data migration projects including mapping, validation,



and reconciliation between legacyand recent systems.
Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data-quality issues at the source.
Analyze business performance data and identify actionable insights.
Document data sources, table schemas, API integrations, and pipeline processes.
Collaborate with teams across e-commerce, marketing, sales, products, and operations to develop practical data solutions.

Requirements
2–4 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, BI, or related roles.
Solid SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
Familiarity with Snowflake, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling principles.
Experience with APIs and data integrations is preferred.
Experience with Python/Pandas or similar data tools.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
