About the Role
We're looking for an engineer who enjoys building complete products—not just writing code.
You'll own features from concept to production, working across product, engineering, infrastructure, and AI. As one of our first engineers, you'll help establish the technical foundation for theName.app and influence many of the key technical decisions.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and ship production-ready features end-to-end
Work across frontend, backend, mobile, APIs, databases, infrastructure, AI integrations, security, and deployment
Collaborate on product decisions and architecture
Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and developer experience
Recommend better technical approaches and continuously improve the platform
Preferred Skills
Experience with some of the following technologies:
React / Next.js
TypeScript
Node.js
iOS (Swift)
Android (Kotlin)
PostgreSQL
Redis
ScyllaDB
REST / GraphQL APIs
Docker
Git
Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
Positive understanding of:
Scalable and distributed systems
System design & architecture
Authentication & security
Performance optimization
Observability & monitoring
AI integrations and up-to-date backend architectures
Startup experience is a plus, but not required.
