Job Summary

Konnak Engineering Private Limited is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to lead Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities during the construction, installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases of an industrial EPC project. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with applicable HSE regulations, project requirements, client standards, and company policies while promoting a robust safety culture across the project.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain the Project HSE Management System.
Develop and implement HSE procedures, plans, and secure work practices.
Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
Monitor contractor HSE performance and compliance.
Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Carry out risk assessments (JSA/JHA) and HIRA reviews.
Review and approve Method Statements and Risk Assessments before work execution.
Manage Permit to Work (PTW) systems.




Ensure compliance with Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
Monitor confined space entry activities.
Monitor hot work, lifting operations, excavation, work at height, and electrical safety.
Conduct incident investigations and prepare investigation reports.
Maintain HSE statistics and monthly reports.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
Coordinate emergency response drills and first aid arrangements.
Conduct HSE induction training for employees and contractors.
Ensure environmental compliance including waste management, spill prevention, dust control, noise control, and housekeeping.
Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities from an HSE perspective.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Science.
Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety, NEBO
