Purpose of the role
Conduct design verification of two wheeler components at vehicle/ subsystem/ Component level through accelerated life tests
Role Description
Translate DVP requirements into vehicle, subsystem, and component level test plans using two poster, multi-axis, and Vibration shakers
Create / calculate the test specification / test rig drive file based on Road load data acquisition (Generate test cycle)
Support correlation of shaker-based vibration tests with road load data, proving ground tests, and vehicle endurance results.
Define / Design appropriate mounting / test fixtures ensuring they impose right preloads, restraints, and maintain alignment with respect to vehicle
Execute sine sweep, random vibration, PSD, and time history based shaker profiles as per durability and product verification requirements.
Independently operate test rigs, including setup, trial runs, and full test execution
Configure and tune control strategies (time history, PSD, RPC/spectrum reproduction) to achieve target inputs.
Monitor test and safety,
identify anomalies during the course of testing
Acquire, validate, and analyze data (time/frequency domain, fatigue damage, correlation with road/track data).
Prepare transparent test reports and communicate results with pass/fail conclusions to design and project teams
