Accounting & Financial Control
Own and supervise day-to-day accounting across all group entities.
• Review and ensure accurate accounting entries in Tally.
• Establish solid accounting systems, processes and internal controls.
• Coordinate statutory audits, tax audits and compliance requirements.
Management Reporting (MIS)
Prepare and deliver monthly MIS reports accurately and within timelines.
• Analyze financial performance and present insights to management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning initiatives.
Revenue & Payment Verification
Verify commissions and payouts relating to:
• Mutual Funds
• PMS / Alternate Investments
• Insurance Companies
• Other business verticals
• Review salary processing, where the Accountant acts as Maker and the Head of Finance acts as Checker.
• Scrutinize all company payments and approvals.
Compliance & Regulatory Management
Oversee GST, Income Tax, MCA and other statutory compliances for the Group.
• Ensure timely filing,
reconciliations and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Banking & Cash Management
Manage banking relationships and cash-flow planning.
• Oversee escrow accounts, petty cash and treasury operations.
• Ensure proper reconciliation and control over client funds.
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
Lead and mentor the accounting team.
• Identify prospects for automation and process enhancement.
• Build scalable systems to support the companys long-term growth.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications
B.Com is mandatory.
• CA Inter / CMA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred.
• Solid accounting fundamentals are essential.
Experience
Minimum 8 to 12 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in independently managing the accounts function of a mid-sized company.
• Experience in financial services, wealth management, insurance, distribution or related sectors will be preferred.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Tally is mandatory.
