Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As the Deputy Manager - PPC within the Supply Chain Planning & Control division at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and advancing the production planning processes to achieve optimal operational efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing, monitoring, and controlling production schedules that align with business objectives and customer demands.
Collaborating closely with product development teams to ensure seamless readiness of current products and manufacturing processes, facilitating a smooth transition from R&D; to production.
Calculating accurate requirements for labor, materials, and costs, alongside conducting comprehensive cost-benefit analyses to drive profitable manufacturing operations.
Leading initiatives to innovate sourcing strategies and supply chain solutions when product designs diverge from existing approved methods, fostering adaptability within supply networks.




Implementing continuous improvement methodologies to optimize production workflows and enhance supply chain responsiveness.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure alignment of production goals.
Driving supplier development programs and fostering solid relationships with key stakeholders to support sustainable business outcomes.
Maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements within the automotive manufacturing context.
Utilising advanced production planning tools and software to forecast demands and manage inventory levels efficiently.
