Job description:
3 to 6 years of experience in Production Support activities on Snowflake, Python, AWS, Glue, APIGEE.
Role & responsibilities
Create and optimize Snowflake objects (schemas, tables, views, stages) and write performant SQL for transformations and validations.
Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines using AWS Glue (Python/PySpark) and load curated data into Snowflake.
Build Python scripts/utilities for data processing, reconciliation, metadata-driven loads, and operational automation.
Configure/support API integrations via Apigee (API proxies, policies, authentication, logging/monitoring) for inbound/outbound data services.
Implement data-quality checks (record counts, null/duplicate checks, referential integrity, business rule validations) and support defect resolution.
Perform troubleshooting across Glue jobs, Snowflake loads, and API flows; analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning,
stand-ups, demos, retrospectives) and provide estimates and status updates.
Follow SDLC practices: code reviews, Git-based version control, documentation, and CI/CD-friendly delivery.
Preferred Skill:
Hands-on experience with Snowflake and strong SQL skills.
Robust Python programming/scripting skills; exposure to PySpark is a plus.
AWS basics: S3, IAM roles/policies, CloudWatch logs/metrics; familiarity with cloud networking concepts is helpful.
Experience developing/supporting AWS Glue jobs and handling file-based/cloud storage ingestion patterns.
Working knowledge of Apigee (proxy configuration, policies, security/auth concepts, analytics/logging).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and tools such as Jira/Confluence.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; valuable communication and collaboration.
