Role Description

The Business Development Associate role at BodhiVerse Pvt Ltd is a full time, in office position based in Mumbai. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and supporting the development of a strong sales pipeline in the education technology sector.

Minimum Qualification

Undergraduate degree. BTech or BE or equivalent in CS/IT or related domains preferred.

Skills Needed
Robust written and verbal communication, especially over email and in-person conversations




Ability to research and understand an institution's structure quickly (departments, decision-makers, admin processes)
Comfortable with cold outreach, email, calls, LinkedIn, without being pushy or scripted
Abreast with latest technology trends: smartphone, OS, network, AI tools, etc.
Basic proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel) & presentation tools (Google Slides/ Canva) for tracking outreach and pipeline

Preferred
Prior experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles, even informal (fests, fundraising, societies, clubs, committees)
Exposure to CRM tools or structured outreach tracking
Familiarity with the higher-education/institutional landscape (how colleges and universities operate, who the relevant decision-makers are)
Comfortable presenting or demoing a software product to a non-tech audience
