The Semiconductor & Electronics Business Unit (SEBU) Systems R&D; team within Emersons Test & Measurement Group is looking for a Senior Engineer to drive innovation at the intersection of software and semiconductor validation. This role focuses on architecting and building scalable automation frameworks that combine system-level software and measurement intellectual property for Mixed Signal and RF semiconductor IC validation. You will contribute to end-to-end solution developmentfrom specifications to automation, data, and analyticswhile collaborating with global R&D;, product, and customer-facing teams to shape next-generation offerings.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Architect and develop framework solutions for semiconductor and electronics lab automation across Mixed Signal and RF domains
Integrate National Instruments (NI) software tools to create comprehensive workflows for product characterization and validation
Design solutions that enable seamless transitions from specification to automation, data acquisition, and analytics to enhance product quality
Own system features or full systems, leading them from definition through successful release
Collaborate with global R&D; teams on feature alignment, dependencies, and customer-critical issues
Develop reusable IP and features for scalability across systems and future prospects
Follow established software development processes and best practices for design and implementation
Gather and incorporate feedback from business managers, system architects, and application engineers
Provide technical leadership, guiding architectural decisions while balancing technical and business priorities
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams
Identify and drive architecture and process improvements to enhance long-term prod
