Job Summary

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and knowledgeable Assistant HR Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and support strategic workforce initiatives. In this role, you will lead recruitment efforts, manage employee relations, drive onboarding/offboarding processes, ensure labor compliance, and support key HR programs like performance reviews and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Lead end-to-end recruitment for mid-level and junior roles (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer extension).
Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs and refine job specs.
Design and execute smooth onboarding/orientation experiences for recent hires.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, perks, and workplace concerns.
Facilitate conflict resolution, conduct basic workplace investigations, and recommend appropriate disciplinary steps.
Drive initiatives to improve team culture, retention, and employee satisfaction.




HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems (HRIS), and personnel files in compliance with federal/state/local laws.
Ensure company policies and employee handbooks remain up to date.
Assist in managing employee leave (FMLA/PTO) and local regulatory requirements.
Performance & Talent Development
Assist in coordinating the bi-annual or annual performance review cycles.
Identify training gaps and help organize learning and development programs.
Support managers with performance improvement plans (PIPs).

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 5–8 years of progressive HR experience (e.g., HR Generalist, Senior HR Specialist, or HR Supervisor).
Skills:
Proficiency with HRIS platforms
Solid knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards.
Robust interperson
