What We Are Looking For
Chartered Accountant, MBA Finance or Commerce graduate with 10 to 14 years of post-qualification experience
Prior ownership of multi-country payroll in at least three jurisdictions
Services industry background is a must
End-to-end AP ownership with coding discipline in a multi-entity environment
Track record of identifying and implementing operational improvements in finance processes
Experience producing or maintaining a rolling cash flow model
Comfort coordinating with external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions
Experience with ERP systems and reconciliation discipline
Solid written and verbal communication you will represent GlobalStep externally

Also Valuable
Experience with client-facing invoicing in a skilled services context
Exposure to Sage or ERP remediation projects
Demonstrable use of AI tools in reconciliations, invoice processing, or exception analysis

This role is for an operator who combines accounting discipline and who is comfortable coordinating financial work across functions, entities, and jurisdictions:
Balanced accounting discipline. You are genuinely robust across AP, payroll, and reconciliations not dominant in one and passing in the rest.
Coordination and orchestration. You can manage external advisors across six jurisdictions, maintain a disciplined compliance calendar, and operate as the connective tissue between our internal data and external technical expertise.
Cash flow discipline. You can maintain a 13-week cash flow model with documented assumptions, accurate inputs, and a discipline that lets the Director of Finance and the CEO act on the numbers with confidence.
Change leadership. You have rebuilt a transactional process from the ground up before, and you know it is about people more than it is about systems.
