Job Summary

We are looking for experienced and qualified Safety Professionals to join our Steel Plant. The position is open to candidates with 1 to 15 years of experience, and the designation will be offered based on the candidate's experience and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety rules, regulations, and statutory requirements.
Implement and monitor the company's Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across the plant.
Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, induction programs, and awareness sessions for employees and contract workers.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses,



and unsafe conditions and prepare detailed reports.
Monitor the use of PPE and ensure compliance with safety procedures at the workplace.
Ensure secure work practices in areas such as DRI/Sponge Iron, Steel Melting, Rolling Mill, Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, Height Work, Hot Work, Confined Space, and Material Handling.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure effective implementation of safety standards.
Maintain safety records, reports, registers, and statutory documentation.
Support emergency preparedness, mock drills, fire safety, and disaster management activities.
Monitor contractor safety and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
Promote a robust safety culture and continuously improve workplace safety standards.

1 to 15 years of experience in Safety, preferably in the Steel, Iron, DRI, Sponge Iron, Manufacturing, or Heavy Engineering Industry.
