Job Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineering Lead to join our Data Engineering practice, delivering contemporary data platforms for enterprise and regulated clients. This is a hands-on leadership role for a technically strong engineer who can lead design and delivery, act as a trusted technical authority, and mentor engineers while maintaining strong engineering discipline in real-world environments.

This is a delivery-focused role for an experienced engineer and Tech Lead who enjoys solving complex data challenges, takes ownership of outcomes, and applies strong engineering discipline in production settings.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering workstreams.
Shape solution approaches and set technical direction.
Design and build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
Operate and support production data systems.
Provide technical governance through design reviews, implementation guidance, risk escalation, and delivery assurance.




Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as a client-facing technical lead.
Mentor and coach engineers while supporting capability development.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to enhance scalable data platforms.
Develop high-throughput, low-latency data processing systems.
Work within the Databricks and Apache Spark ecosystem.
Build and maintain cloud-native data solutions on AWS.
Use dbt for data transformation, modelling, testing, and documentation.
Orchestrate workflows using Airflow or similar tools.
Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices.
Collaborate with product, analytics, and platform teams.
Support production systems by troubleshooting issues and implementing continuous improvements.
Ensure solutions are secure, tested, observable, and cost-effective.
Optimize data performance, reliability, and data quality in production settings.
