About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer who enjoys building robust backend systems and isn't afraid to work beyond the application layer. This role is ideal for someone who understands that building reliable software also means understanding the Linux environment it runs on and the networking fundamentals that keep it connected.

Our current platform is built on Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, and PHP (Laravel & CodeIgniter). As we continue to modernize our technology stack, we're investing in Go, Node.js (TypeScript), and Python. We're not looking for someone who knows every technology we use today—we're looking for someone with solid engineering fundamentals who can quickly learn and adapt to recent tools and technologies.

What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
Build and maintain REST APIs and platform components.




Develop and optimize backend systems running on Linux.
Write Shell/Bash scripts to automate deployments, maintenance, and operational tasks.
Design and optimize MySQL databases while evaluating NoSQL or time-series databases where appropriate.
Troubleshoot issues across application, database, Linux, and networking layers.
Collaborate with Infrastructure and DevOps teams on deployments, performance tuning, and platform reliability.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
Evaluate and recommend technologies that improve the platform's scalability, performance, and maintainability.

What We're Looking ForBackend Development
5–8 years of software development experience.
At least 2–3 years of hands-on backend development.
Solid programming fundamentals and software design principles.
Experience with PHP is a plus.
Exposure to Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python is highly desirable.
