Job Summary

The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and managing day-to-day financial activities. The role also involves budgeting, financial analysis, cash flow management, and leading the accounts team.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, statutory regulations, and tax requirements.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Prepare and file GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns (as applicable).
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost control.
Supervise and mentor the accounts team.




Ensure timely vendor payments and customer collections.
Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
Support management with financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA, CMA, CPA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification is preferred.
5–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including team management.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid leadership and team management abilities.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
