Designation: Process Engineer

Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai

Job Description
Process Optimization
Operate and monitor utility systems such as chillers, boilers, and vacuum pumps
Optimize reaction conditions, raw material consumption, and utility usage
Improve performance of mixing, heat transfer, distillation, crystallization, and filtration processes.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
Diagnose and resolve batch failures, process deviations, and equipment bottlenecks
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions
Work with production, quality, and safety teams to stabilize recent processes.
Process Development & Scale-Up
Handle multiple reactors and process equipment including distillation systems,



pumps, valves, filters, ANFD, and scrubber systems
Conduct pilot plant trials and scale-up from lab to commercial production
Translate lab-scale or kilo-lab processes to commercial scale with minimal deviations
Perform mass & energy balance calculations and equipment sizing
Prepare PFDs, equipment lists, plant layouts, and P&IDs;
Experience with hydrogenation, ethylene oxide reactions, catalyst handling, and high-pressure reactor operations.
Desired Experience
3–10 years’ experience in specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, or pharma intermediates
Exposure to pilot plant operations, GLRs, SS reactors, distillation columns, vacuum systems, and plant trials
Hands-on experience in process troubleshooting and scale-up.
