Position Overview

The Head of Events is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events—including academic programs, cultural activities, Annual Day, Sports Day, and Viva-related events—at both school and national levels. The role requires solid strategic planning, coordination, and leadership to ensure high-quality event execution, increased student engagement, and enhanced institutional reputation.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution
Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of academic, cultural, sports, and institutional events.
Develop event concepts, themes, schedules, and detailed action plans.
Ensure smooth organization of Viva and other examination-related events.

Coordination & Leadership
Coordinate with academic departments, administration, faculty, and student committees.
Supervise event teams, assigning responsibilities and ensuring timely task completion.
Manage logistics, venue arrangements, hospitality, and technical requirements.

Strategic Planning




Develop an annual event calendar aligned with institutional goals.
Innovate recent event ideas to enhance student participation and brand visibility.
Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and external partnerships.

Compliance & Safety
Ensure all events follow institutional policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee risk management plans and emergency protocols during events.

Communication & Reporting
Prepare event reports, attendance records, feedback summaries, and improvement plans.
Serve as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Education, Management, or related fields).
Strong experience in an educational setting, especially in event management.
Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
