Job Summary

The Civil Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all civil maintenance activities across the college campus. The role ensures that campus buildings, classrooms, laboratories, hostels, administrative blocks, roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure are maintained in a protected, functional, and aesthetically pleasing condition. The supervisor will coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance works while adhering to quality, safety, and budget standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day civil maintenance activities across the campus.
Inspect campus buildings and infrastructure regularly to identify maintenance requirements.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of civil structures.
Monitor repairs related to:
Buildings and classrooms
Hostels
Laboratories
Toilets and washrooms
Roofing and waterproofing
Roads, pavements, and parking areas
Drainage and sewage systems
Compound walls and gates




Coordinate with contractors and vendors for civil maintenance projects.
Verify work quality, measurements, and compliance with approved specifications.
Prepare estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and material requirements for maintenance works.
Monitor inventory of civil maintenance materials and ensure timely procurement.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
Maintain maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and asset registers.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations during maintenance activities.
Attend emergency maintenance requirements during breakdowns, natural calamities, or infrastructure failures.
Coordinate with departments to minimize disruption during maintenance works.
Assist in campus renovation, expansion, and infrastructure development projects.
