Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes Admin Engineer to manage, administer, and optimize enterprise Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Kubernetes administration, Istio Service Mesh, monitoring tools, and ITSM processes. CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification is mandatory.

Mandatory Skills

Monitoring & Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
ITSM Processes (Incident, Change & Problem Management)
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) – Mandatory

Roles & Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
Perform cluster upgrades, patching, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
Implement and manage Istio Service Mesh for traffic management, security, and observability.




Monitor Kubernetes infrastructure using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Troubleshoot cluster, networking, and container-related issues.
Manage Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, namespaces, RBAC, and storage.
Handle incidents, changes, and problem management activities following ITSM best practices.
Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure platform reliability and performance.
Maintain high availability, scalability, and security of Kubernetes environments.
Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications
7–10 years of overall IT experience.
Robust hands-on experience in Kubernetes Administration.
Experience with Istio Service Mesh implementation and support.
Valuable knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker/Containers).
Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
