Role & responsibilities
Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).
Ensure treated water meets environmental and Pollution Control Board (PCB) standards.
Monitor parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, TSS, TDS, DO, MLSS, and chemical dosing.
Maintain pumps, blowers, motors, valves, filters, and other treatment equipment.
Prepare daily operation logs, maintenance records, and compliance reports.
Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Handle chemicals safely and maintain inventory.
Manage sludge handling and disposal as per environmental regulations.
