Key Responsibilities
Assist in the conceptual and detailed design of composite and metallic components.
Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or NX.
Support FEA/CAE activities (ANSYS/ABAQUS) for structural validation under guidance.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and testing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, BoMs, and design reports.
Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and risk assessments.
Support prototype build, assembly, and testing activities in the development phase.
Ensure compliance with AS9100, aerospace/defense design standards, and internal quality procedures.
Stay updated on recent materials, processes, and design tools relevant to composites and mechanical systems.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA V5, SolidWorks, NX preferred).
Basic knowledge of CAE tools (ANSYS, ABAQUS, HyperMesh – desirable).
Familiarity with composite materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
Understanding of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and drafting standards.
Knowledge of aerospace/defense standards is an added advantage.
Experience
2–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design
Pay: ₹10,197.33 - ₹33,396.33 per month
