Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Continental Commi 1 to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing Continental cuisine while maintaining consistency, quality, and hygiene standards. The candidate should be able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen and support senior chefs in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of Continental dishes as per standard recipes and SOPs.
Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.
Assist in mise en place and daily kitchen preparation.
Prepare sauces, soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta, grilled items, steaks, and other Continental dishes.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO).
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation in compliance with food safety standards.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor inventory and inform senior chefs about stock requirements.
Minimize food wastage and ensure proper utilization of raw materials.




Follow production schedules and kitchen SOPs.
Coordinate effectively with other kitchen sections during service.
Adhere to company policies, food safety, and hygiene guidelines.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
Understanding of sauces, soups, grills, pasta, salads, and appetizers.
Knowledge of food plating and presentation.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure during peak service hours.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality.

Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts (preferred).
Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Continental Commi or similar role.
Experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or cloud kitchens will be preferred.
