Roles & Responsibilities

As a Java Backend Software Development Engineer (SDE-2), you will own the delivery of critical backend services, turning product visions into high-performance, production-ready software. Your core responsibilities include:
Architecture & Low-Level Design: Design modular, extensible, and scalable low-level software components. Contribute to high-level microservices architecture design alongside senior engineering stakeholders.
Code Excellence: Write clean, highly readable, well-tested, and maintainable Java code. Implement optimal data structures and design patterns to ensure high-performance execution.
Execution & Project Delivery: Break down complex product requirements into manageable technical tasks, provide realistic effort estimations, and deliver robust features on time within an Agile workplace.
Concurrency & Scaling: Design systems capable of handling complex business logic, large-scale data processing, and heavy traffic by leveraging multithreading and concurrency principles.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship:



Actively mentor and coach junior engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and champion engineering best practices within the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and QA teams to align on deliverables and achieve shared business milestones.

Technical Skill Set
Core Language: Deep expertise in Java with a rock-solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), multithreading, asynchronous processing, and concurrency.
Frameworks: Hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Dropwizard.
Architecture: Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining Microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
