Role Description
This is a full time, in office Salesperson role based in Chennai. The Salesperson will identify and pursue recent business opportunities, maintain relationships with existing clients, and support customers in selecting appropriate metal products for their needs. Daily responsibilities include making sales calls, meeting clients, preparing quotations, negotiating prices and terms, and following up on orders and payments. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams on inventory, delivery schedules, and documentation to ensure smooth order fulfillment.



The Salesperson will track sales performance, update customer records, and contribute to sales planning and market insights.

Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid customer relationships, with effective negotiation and persuasion skills.
Strong communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to present product information clearly and confidently.
Basic understanding of sales processes, pricing, and margins; prior experience in trading, metals, or industrial products is an advantage.
Proficiency with common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email, CRM tools) and accurate record-keeping habits.
Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage time effectively.
Comfort with in office customer visits in and around Chennai and willingness to travel locally as needed.
