As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorganChase within the Asset and
Wealth Management, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation
activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team’s work
adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best
practices.

Job responsibilities
Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and
activities
Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical
troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional
approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and
collaboration
Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and
applications in line with business requirements
Identifies prospects to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring




issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and
systems
Drives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering
practices within the work setting to improve code quality, delivery
speed, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-assisted code review/refactoring,
test strategy acceleration, incident/root-cause analysis support), while
establishing consistent validation standards (secure coding, peer review,
automated testing) and promoting reuse of effective patterns across the team.
Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with
compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
Creates a culture of diversity, prospect, inclusion, and respect for the
team members and prioritizes diverse representation
