What you'll do:
As a Mechanical Group Leader, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering key engineering and process developments for mechanical equipment and systems used in strip processing lines. You'll lead a team, ensuring top-quality designs, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency, while always seeking creative ways to improve functionality and reduce costs.

Plan and deliver key engineering and process development for mechanical equipment and systems for strip processing lines, enabling operational excellence and supporting the organization's growth objectives.

Lead and plan engineering activities for the team.

Key Responsibilities:
Understand the technical contract requirements and develop basic and detailed designs.
Lead a team of engineers and draftsmen to carry out engineering activities.




Plan engineering activities for projects and manage resource allocation.
Ensure timely completion of activities .
Perform design calculations .
Prepare 3D models, related drawings, and other engineering documentation .
Generate bought-out specifications and approve offers received from suppliers.
Ensure the correctness of drawings .
Coordinate with manufacturing for discrepancies and deviations.
Coordinate with Erection and Commissioning for site support.
Understand process requirements, define necessary instruments, and develop process instrumentation diagrams (P&ID;) .
Coordinate and manage all engineering design activities across internal teams and external service providers.
Ensure the best available technology is used in equipment.
Communicate with customers and participate in technical discussions.
Be proactive in continuous improvement and REX (return on experience) processes
