Job Summary:
The Loadman is responsible for handling the loading and unloading of materials, products, or goods from vehicles, containers, or storage areas. The role involves manual lifting, organizing items, and ensuring goods are transported safely without damage.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload goods from trucks, vans, or containers.
Move materials to designated storage or work areas.
Stack and arrange products safely to prevent damage.
Assist with packing, unpacking, and sorting materials.
Check goods for damage or shortages during loading and unloading.
Follow instructions from supervisors regarding material handling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the loading area.
Use manual handling equipment such as hand trolleys or pallet jacks when required.
Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).




Assist with inventory movement and stock handling as needed.

Requirements:
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads.
Basic reading and counting skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Willingness to work versatile shifts, including overtime if required.
Knowledge of secure lifting techniques is an advantage.
Previous experience in loading/unloading is preferred but not always required.
