Responsibilities
Provide design support for railway E&M; systems for stations, depots, and operational facilities, with knowledge of HV, MV, LV, UPS, lighting, HVAC, fire services, and plumbing & drainage systems.
Oversee the integration of E&M; systems with railway systems, including traction power, rolling stock, earthing & bonding, signaling, and telecommunications.
Coordinate operation and maintenance (O&M;) requirements of railway E&M; systems.
Address and coordinate human factors considerations related to railway E&M; systems.
Coordinate RAM considerations and system safety issues
Support asset management and condition and performance assessment of railway E&M; systems and related facilities
Bidding support
Incident/fault investigation or study
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, related or equivalent fields.
A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
Experience working in consulting firms would be an advantage
Positive knowledge and experience of railway signaling or rolling stock design or engineering are preferred.
Good knowledge and experience of system assurance for railway signaling, rolling stock or infrastructure systems are required.
Self-motivated with positive interpersonal skills
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive command of written and spoken English
