Job Description:

Position: EHS Executive

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Industries: Chemical

Responsibilities:
Valuable knowledge of safety management with legal requirements and capability to meet legal compliances.
Handling etp operations and gpcb liasoning
Implementation, updating, review and auditing of the company HSE systems.
Ensure that necessary monitoring and measurement of HSE performance parameters is carried out appropriate investigation and reporting of oh&s; (occupational hazards and safety) incidents, transport incidents and implementation of corrective actions.
Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate safety and setting system procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in legislation and company directives.
Provide for motivation and familiarization of all company personnel respecting the importance of complying with company system procedures and all safety equipment provided.
Assist the commercial,



engineering and operations department in their dealings with clients in all issues concerned with health and safety at work.
Conduct safety audits.
Provide technical support to senior management on any safety related subjects.
Carry out safety audits on sub-contractors.
Liaise between clients on safety related issues.
Safety related engineering input into recent projects and modification programs.
Participate to hazop meetings prior to procurement and installation activities.
Perform risk assessment.
Provide safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.

Required Skills:
Must be excellent in written and spoken English; net savvy and adept at computer skills.
Logical thinking.
Organizing.

Required Qualification: - B.Sc/M.Sc/B.E/B.Tech - Chemica
