ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a result-driven Business Development Executive to bring new clients and revenue from corporates, NBFCs (Non-Banking Financial Companies), and banking institutions. The ideal candidate already has proven experience in legal BD – understanding of legal service offerings, client requirements in litigation, compliance, recovery, arbitration, and advisory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, prospect, and onboard corporate clients, NBFCs, and banks requiring legal services (debt recovery, documentation, compliance, litigation support, arbitration).
Build and maintain robust relationships with legal heads, credit managers, compliance officers,



and CXOs of target organizations.
Develop a pipeline of institutional clients who outsource legal work – loan recovery, contract drafting, NPA management, title searches, regulatory advisory.
Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for current client sign-ups and billable matters referred to the firm.
Track legal spending patterns, competitor firms, and emerging opportunities in the BFSI sector.
Create customized service proposals, capability decks, and fee structures in coordination with firm partners.
Attend industry events, legal conclaves, and corporate meets to promote My Wakil Friend and generate referrals.
Maintain CRM updates, activity logs, and weekly reports on BD pipeline and closures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Minimum 2 years of legal business development experience – working with a law firm, legal process outsourcing (LPO), or legal consultancy.
