Role & Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Social Science lessons (History, Geography, Civics) aligned to CBSE/ICSE/State board syllabi and grade-level objectives.
Create explicit learning outcomes, design formative and summative assessments, and use results to personalize instruction and close learning gaps.
Maintain effective classroom management—foster a respectful, inclusive environment that supports student participation and critical thinking.
Use a variety of pedagogical techniques and digital resources (maps, timelines, presentations, educational apps) to make abstract concepts concrete and memorable.




Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership on curriculum planning, co-curricular activities, and cross-disciplinary projects; participate in staff meetings and training.
Maintain accurate student records, communicate progress to parents and guardians, and support remedial or enrichment programs as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
Bachelor's degree in Social Science/History/Political Science/Geography or related field plus B.Ed (or equivalent teaching qualification).
Proven classroom teaching experience at the middle/secondary level (1–3+ years preferred) with strong subject knowledge across History, Geography and Civics.
Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE or relevant State board curricula, lesson planning, assessment design and class record maintenance.
