Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Field Quality & Failure Resolution
Own resolution of critical field issues across vehicle systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Powertrain).
Drive structured root cause analysis through joint investigations with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
Establish robust failure diagnostics, benchmarking, and corrective action frameworks.
Lead in management reviews (Quality council) for update to senior management.
Technical Leadership & System Expertise
Provide strategic technical direction on vehicle systems, diagnostics, and failure modes.
Ensure integration of mechanical, electronic, and software systems for end-to-end vehicle performance.
Build advanced capabilities in diagnostics, measurement techniques, and validation tools.
Cross Functional Integration
Collaborate with PD , Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Service, and Program teams for issue resolution and design improvements.
Lead joint investigations and represent the function in customer reviews, audits, and escalations.




Drive horizontal deployment of learnings across platforms and vehicle programs.
Product Improvement & Feedback Loop
Translate field insights into actionable design improvements and robustness enhancements.
Influence product development through participation in design reviews and validation sign-offs.
Drive continuous improvement in reliability, serviceability, and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing technical team across sub-domains.
Develop capability in diagnostics, validation, and system engineering across levels.
Foster a culture of quality, ownership, and customer-first mindset.
