Key Responsibilities
Modelling of field instruments such as flow, pressure, temperature, level, and F&G; equipment. For the same, interpret P&IDs; (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and ensure design consistency.
Modelling of cableways e.g. cable tray, ducts, conduits.
Work closely with process, electrical, piping, and instrument engineers to integrate instrumentation into plant design.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
Conduct 3D model reviews with clients.
Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) for procurement and construction
Prepare instrumentation design deliverables including:
Instrument location layouts - field
Fire & Gas (F&G;) equipment location layouts - field
Instrument rack room/ control room layouts
Hook-up drawings
Cable routing layouts
Installation typical, process hook-ups
Support construction teams with technical clarifications and field modifications.
Software skills
Proficiency in following software as minimum:
Intergraph S3D
Model review software Smart Review
AutoCAD/ BricksCAD
Other skills
Positive communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines and commitment to quality.
