As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of core backend systems that power large-scale, high-performance platforms. You’ll own complex projects end to end, operate with autonomy, and play a key role in shaping the architecture and future direction of high-throughput, low-latency systems. Key responsibilities:
Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems that power JioStar’s tech stack
Own end-to-end delivery of complex backend projects, from technical design to deployment and monitoring
Drive architectural decisions and influence long-term engineering strategy for the team
Build systems with robust observability and monitoring, ensuring system health, uptime, and rapid incident response.
Continuously evaluate and adopt relevant technologies.
Take ownership of operational excellence, including performance tuning, incident response, and root cause analysis
Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical deep dives and code reviews, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing
