Description
Business Analyst I is an entry-level BA role focused on gathering business requirements, documenting functional needs, analyzing processes, and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver software solutions in the insurance domain. It suits candidates with 1–3 years of Business Analysis experience.

Responsibilities
Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Support data analysis activities using Excel, SQL, or other reporting tools to generate meaningful business insights.
Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Assist in creating process maps, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.




Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate business requirements, and coordinate issue resolution.
Maintain project documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Communicate project updates and requirement clarifications effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Assist with change management activities, including documentation, user communication, and training support.

Qualifications
Educational Background
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
Master's Degree is an added advantage.

Skilled Experience
1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum settings is preferred.
Exposure to the Insurance, Financial Services, or Technology domain is an advantage.

Technical Skills
Positive knowledge of Microsoft Excel an
