About the Role
We are seeking a highly accomplished Vice President – Sales to lead business development and sales strategy for a leading global manufacturer of industrial transmission products such as gearboxes, couplings, and drive solutions. The role requires robust expertise in handling large capital
equipment sales across Metals & Mining, Steel, Cement, and allied process industries.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute sales strategy to expand market presence in India and international
regions.
• Drive business growth in transmission systems and drive solutions across target industries.
• Develop solid relationships with key decision-makers in steel plants, mining companies,
cement plants, and heavy engineering sectors.
• Lead high-value contract negotiations and manage end-to-end sales cycles.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and service teams to deliver customer-centric
solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies,



and emerging opportunities to strengthen
business positioning.
• Mentor and build a high-performance sales team.

Required Experience & Expertise
• 20–30 years of experience in Sales/Business Development of gearboxes, couplings,
transmission systems, or heavy capital equipment.
• Proven track record of sales leadership in Metals, Mining, Cement, Steel, or related heavy
industries.
• Solid understanding of industrial drive solutions and application engineering in heavy
industries.
• Experience in P&L; ownership, large project sales, and strategic partnerships.
• Excellent negotiation, networking, and leadership skills.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• MBA/PGDM in Marketing or related field (preferred).
