Description
Manage daily accounting operations in Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
Ensure timely and accurate month-end/year-end close and financial reporting.
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and balance sheet schedules.
Maintain compliance with Indian statutory requirements (GST, TDS), US GAAP, and corporate policies.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to troubleshoot Oracle ERP issues and implement enhancements.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Maintain fixed asset, leasing, and insurance schedules.
Provide guidance and training to junior accountants on Oracle processes and best practices.
Liaise with external service providers for banking, payroll, audit, and legal services.
Support taxation, legal, and company secretarial work.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required; CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.
Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational setting.
Familiarity with both local and US GAAP standards is an advantage.
Internal candidates: minimum 1 year of robust performance at Mouser;
External candidates: minimum 2 years of relevant team leadership experience.
