Service Engineer – Fleet In-Charge is responsible for the end-to-end maintenance, availability, and secure operation of diesel-powered Passenger Carriers and Scissor Lift equipment used in underground mining operations. The role involves hands-on service engineering, fleet supervision, manpower coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
Fleet Maintenance & Availability
Ensure maximum availability and reliability of the assigned fleet of diesel Passenger Carriers and Scissor Lifts used in underground operations.




Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities as per OEM recommendations and site requirements.
Monitor equipment health, recurring failures, and take corrective and preventive actions to improve MTBF and reduce MTTR.
Service Operations & Supervision
Supervise day-to-day service activities of service technicians and helpers deployed for the fleet.
Allocate jobs, schedule maintenance tasks, and monitor execution to ensure timely completion with required quality standards.
Provide hands-on technical support for complex troubleshooting and critical repairs.
Safety, Compliance & Standards
Ensure all maintenance and service activities are carried out in strict compliance with safety regulations, underground mining norms, and company SOPs.
Conduct job safety analysis (JSA), toolbox talks, and ensure proper permit systems are followed before starting any
