Consultant – TIBCO MDM Developer
Experience: 3–5 years
Key responsibilities Solution design and delivery
Translate business requirements into MDM functional and technical designs, solution blueprints, and integration patterns.
Model and configure domains, entities, hierarchies, taxonomies, and reference data in TIBCO MDM/EBX (preferably 8.x).
Implement data quality, standardization, match/merge, and survivorship rules; tune thresholds and clerical review strategies.
Configure and develop data stewardship workflows, task management, and user interfaces for data authoring and governance.
Set up security models, roles, and permissions; ensure segregation of duties and least-privilege access.
Build and manage inbound/outbound integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, files/batches, and messaging (e.g., EMS/Kafka/JMS); collaborate with ESB/ETL teams (e.g., TIBCO BusinessWorks, Informatica, Talend).
Optimize hub performance (indexing, caching, purge/archive strategies, batch tuning); perform capacity planning.
Establish CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Maven)
and workplace promotion processes across Dev/Test/Prod.
Create and maintain technical documentation (solution design, configuration, runbooks, interface specs).
Partner with data governance to define data standards, business rules, and stewardship operating models.
Coordinate testing (unit, SIT, UAT), test data management, and defect triage; drive root-cause analysis.
Support production (L3), SLAs, and incident/problem management; implement monitoring and alerting.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years total experience in data management/engineering, with 2+ years hands-on in TIBCO MDM/EBX (8.x preferred).
Robust understanding of MDM concepts: data modeling, golden record, match/merge, survivorship, hierarchy and reference data management, data stewardship, metadata.
