The Purpose of the Role

Fidelity’s Security Operations Center (SOC) is seeking a Lead SOC Analyst. This is an chance to contribute to a highly visible security operations function with global impact upon Fidelity, its affiliates, business units, partners, and customers. While working as part of this team, the successful individual will provide first level support to cyber incident handling, analysis, and response functions to detect, protect, respond, and sustain operations within cyberspace.

Expertise We Are Looking For
4+ years Information Security Incident Response experience with a focus on detection and response to malicious activity using log data from various sources preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Prior experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or related cybersecurity role preferred but not required
Fundamental knowledge of network and system technologies, including Windows System knowledge
Fundamental understanding of security, web-based, and infrastructure vulnerabilities
Knowledge of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), various operating systems (Windows/UN
