Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions across our Azure cloud data platform. This role requires solid hands-on expertise in Azure SQL Managed Instance, performance tuning, ETL development, and cloud-based data integration. The ideal candidate will work independently on complex database solutions and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Database Design & Development




Design, develop, and maintain database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
Build scalable and high-performing solutions using Azure SQL Managed Instance (experience with SQL Hyperscale is a plus).
Implement and support ETL solutions using SSIS.
Develop and maintain reports and datasets using SSRS.

Data Integration & Cloud Services
Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Manage SQL Agent jobs, scheduling, and automation processes.
Collaborate with application and cloud teams to ensure reliable and secure data solutions.

Performance Optimization
Perform query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in transactional and analytical systems.
Implement monitoring and performance best practices.

Collaboration
Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning an
