Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide database support for both production and non-production settings.
Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code to achieve maximum performance and efficiency.
Conduct performance tuning , query analysis , and troubleshoot database-related issues.
Ensure adherence to coding standards and maintain high-quality, reliable code.
Collaborate with development teams during design reviews to provide database architecture and optimization recommendations .
Prepare and execute Unit Tests (UTs) to validate code stability and performance.
Continuously monitor database performance , identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues.
Document best practices , maintain runbooks , and contribute to improving database operations and support processes.

Years of Experience:
6–9 years of experience in SQL , PL/SQL , performance tuning ,



and database support .

Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional):
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.
Oracle certifications (OCP/OCA) preferred.

Skill Set Required:
Must Have:
Solid expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development.
Proven experience in SQL performance tuning and PL/SQL optimization techniques .
High-level understanding of Oracle Database Architecture .
Experience with design , unit testing (UTs) , and code quality reviews .

Valuable to Have:
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines .
