Pre-Action Fire Suppression Systems




Verify installation of pre-action sprinkler systems as per approved shop drawings and specifications.
Conduct hydrostatic pressure testing of piping networks.
Test operation of:
Deluge valves
Pre-action valves
Detection and releasing panels
Solenoid valves
Supervisory and pressure switches
Verify sprinkler coverage, pipe supports, and system zoning.
Test single-interlock and double-interlock pre-action systems.
Simulate alarm and release sequences to validate system functionality.
Coordinate with Fire Alarm System vendors for interface testing.

Gas Suppression Systems
Commission clean agent systems such as:
FM-200 (HFC-227ea)
Novec 1230
Inergen
IG-541
CO₂ systems (where applicable)
Verify cylinder installation, pipework, nozzles, and discharge arrangements.
Conduct enclosure integrity (door fan) tests where required.
Verify operation of:
Releasing control panels
Manual release stations
