Description
We are looking for a Medical Coder with experience in Ancillary Services to join our team. As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records, assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
Review and code diagnostic, therapeutic, and support services (e.g., lab, pathology, radiology, DME, physical therapy).
Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on payer requirements.
Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance guidelines .
Validate documentation and communicate with providers for clarification.
Identify and resolve coding discrepancies to prevent denials.
Stay updated on industry regulations, coding changes, and payer policies .

Key Requirements:
Certification: CPC, CCS, or relevant coding credentials (Preferred).
Experience: 1+ years in Ancillary Services Coding .
Knowledge of billing rules for laboratory, pathology, radiology, DME, and outpatient services .
Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and coding software.
Solid understanding of medical necessity and compliance policies .
