Mechanical Design Engineering:
Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies for low voltage electrical apparatus in alignment with project requirements and manufacturing constraints.
CAD Expertise:
Utilize design tools such as Pro-Engineer (Creo 2.0), AutoCAD 2D , and AutoCAD Revit for detailed modeling and drafting of components and layouts.
Technical Documentation:
Prepare accurate and comprehensive manufacturing and layout drawings, ensuring clarity and compliance with internal and customer standards.
Engineering Standards:
Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;) , fits and tolerances knowledge to ensure manufacturability and product performance.
Manufacturing Support:
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to provide support and resolve design-related issues during production phases.
Project Coordination:
Contribute effectively as an individual contributor while coordinating with cross-functional teams locally and globally.
Travel Readiness:
Open to travel across India and internationally as project needs dictate.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design of sheet metal components .
Familiarity with low voltage electrical apparatus and related mechanical design aspects.
Proficiency in Creo 2.0 , AutoCAD 2D , and optionally Revit .
Solid understanding of GD&T;, fits, and tolerances.
Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
