JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree / Diploma in Industrial Safety

EXPERIENCE:
10+ years of relevant experience

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To co-ordinate with Architecture Department and the Fire Consultant and to
provide inputs while planning & designing Fire & Safety systems
To co-ordinate with Engineering Department and give inputs while
implementation of fire & safety systems at sites.
To co-ordinate with Contracts section for finalization of contracts for fire
& safety systems
To obtain approvals and completion certificate from Chief Fire Officer by
assigning the jobs to the Registered Licensing Agencies.
To maintain external fire & safety equipments in a proper manner
To liaison periodically with government bodies with respect to various
approvals and permissions.
To carry out fire audit of the system at all sites




To visit sites periodically and supervise the fire fighting works being
carried out at sites
To train the security staff in fire fighting & safety as required

KEY SKILLS:
The candidate must have experience in overall fire & safety function in
construction industry.
Should have degree/diploma in fire & safety management, occupational health.
Familiar with fire safety codes /standards and help project team in ensuring
appropriate design of fire protection systems for all facility modifications
as well as current projects.

Certificate Courses in Fire & Safety / Industrial Safety / Occupational Health
Safety & Workplace will be an advantage
