Position Overview of Product Engineer
Our client is looking for a Product Engineer who would be responsible for conducting engineering reviews of both current and current products, utilizing advanced tools such as SolidWorks and 3DExperience Simulia for linear and nonlinear finite element analysis. This role emphasises report creation, ensuring all designs are robust and meet industry standards.
The position requires expertise in 3D modeling and drafting, with proficiency in using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and 3DExperience/Simulia. The Product Engineer will play a critical role in verifying the technical integrity of product designs, optimising them for performance and manufacturability.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Conduct engineering reviews of existing and current product designs.
Perform linear and nonlinear finite element analysis using SolidWorks and 3DExperience Simulia (or other software if deemed appropriate).
Develop comprehensive reports on analysis findings and design evaluations.
Ensure product designs meet industry standards and client requirements.
Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings to support product development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design changes and improvements.
Participate in design reviews, providing technical insights and recommendations.
Stay updated with the latest engineering technologies and methodologies.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of design processes and analyses.
